The Global Game Jam is now the most well-known and widespread game creation event worldwide. For those who may not be familiar, it’s a creative marathon where thousands of participants, from all over the world, come together to design games within a limited time frame, based on a common theme. Over the years, the Global Game Jam has evolved, shifting from a 48-hour format to a full week of creation. However, in Nantes, we stick to the classic format: 48 intense hours, from Friday evening until Sunday afternoon. Below is the list of games I’ve created by participating in these jams.

Bubble Tea Shooter (2025)


Theme: Bubble This project is a static Vampire Survivor where the player faces waves of bubbles with various characteristics. By eliminating bubbles, the player earns experience and levels up. At each level, they can choose from 3 upgrades: acquiring a new weapon, enhancing an existing weapon, or boosting a stat.

Theme: Make Me Laugh Have you always dreamed of shooting the cutest creatures in the world with wacky weapons to achieve the highest score? Then dUwUm, this over-the-top FPS, is made for you! Use your dash and the 3 weapons scattered across the map to escape the creatures and reach the top score.

B.i.z.z (2023)


Theme: Root Bizz is a game where you play as a small robot trying to find its way back home. To succeed, the player must solve a series of puzzles by sending sequences of instructions to the robot. The goal is to find the most optimal path while avoiding obstacles. The connection to the Root theme? Instructions are entered into the robot’s root directory, adding a technical and immersive touch to the experience.

Bobo the Robot (2021)


Theme: Lost & Found You play as a small robot waking up in a strange, abandoned town. Your goal: find the pieces of your armor and discover your way out. This 2D platformer features a unique mechanic: by finding or losing parts, you unlock or lose abilities. For example, gain the jump but lose the dash, or vice versa.
