The Scientific Game Jam is a unique event dedicated to the creation of scientific video games. Unlike a traditional game jam, it stands out for its mission to transform scientific research into interactive and playful experiences. Each edition highlights the work of a young researcher – whether a PhD student or recent graduate – by inviting participants to design a video game inspired by their research theme. All scientific disciplines are represented, from geology to management sciences, including materials physics and even literature. Once developed, these games are freely accessible online and showcased at prestigious events, such as scientific or cultural festivals, helping to democratize research and make it accessible to everyone. Below is the list of games I’ve created by participating in these jams.

Medieval Decadence (2024)

PhD in Literature: Fear Through the Ages Stuck in the 15th century for a week, I have no idea how this time travel happened. The village thinks I’m the new doctor, an ironic twist since I was considering a career change. Maybe I’ll get used to it—my 2024 life doesn’t miss me that much... Use the bell on your right to welcome new clients and choose from 3 possible responses. Be careful, your choices have consequences and shape how the villagers perceive you!
